[CZ] Nemůžu se na ty svoje nové šaty Marguerite podle střihu od @sewoveritlondon vynadívat. Oproti střihu mají navíc volánové rukávky, které hezky vlají ve větru 😅, a vázačku. No a látka značky Nani Iro od @peonygarden.cz je úplně pohádková! 🌺🌸🌼

[CZ] Ze studené Anglie zpátky do léta 🙏🏼. Tady je můj poslední přírůstek do letní garderóby - trochu jsem si upravila střih #SOIMargueriteDress od Sew Over It. Lemy na rukávech jsem vyměnila za volány a přidala vázačku na pořádnou mašli na zádech 🎀

Poprvé jsem si taky vyzkoušela látku od #NaniIro koupenou u @peonygarden.cz a je krásná, lehká a moc příjemná 😍

[ENG] Back from cold rainy England to Czech summer 🙏🏼. Here’s my latest addition to my summer wardrobe - hack of @sewoveritlondon Marguerite Dress. I exchanged the sleeve cuff for a flounce and added waist ties to tie a big bow at the back 🎀

Also, it was my first time working with a @atelier_to_naniiro_textile fabric and it is beautiful, light and soft 😍

[ENG] I think my PhD graduation outfit deserves a

[ENG] I think my PhD graduation outfit deserves a spot on the grid 💗. I loved wearing it on the day and I wish I had more opportunities to wear that fabulous hat 😍.

The dress was inspired by a design worn by Kate Middleton a few years ago. I’ve been using the #SOIBettyDress bodice tweaked to fit perfectly as a block for drafting other designs, which is how this started. It took a few toiles and lots of tweaks, but the last toile looked promising. Yet the finished dress is far from perfect, as you can see in the last photo. The neckline fits just as I imagined, but there are lots of creases on the bodice 🙈. It could be the fabric is too lightweight for this, or I stuffed up the interlining, who knows 😔. I was pretty gutted and didn’t have time nor mood to fix it but I might come back to it later… The fabric is a deadstock silk/viscose blend crepe.

[CZ] Myslím, že outfit z promoce si zaslouží místo na gridu 💗. Hrozně jsem si užila mít ho na sobě a přála bych si mít víc příležitostí kam nosit ten úžasný klobouček 😍.

U šatů jsem se inspirovala jedněmi, co před pár lety měla Kate Middleton. Jako obykle jsem vycházela ze svého k dokonalosti vymazleného vršku k šatům Betty od @sewoveritlondon . Chtělo to pár zkušebních modelů a hodně úprav, ale ten poslední vypadal slibně. Nicméně hotové šaty mají k dokonalosti daleko, jak vidíte na poslední fotce. Výstřih je perfektní, přesně podle mých představ, ale pak se to všude krčí 🙈. Možná to je tím, že látka je moc lehká, nebo se mi nějak rozjelo podražení, nevím… Byla jsem z toho dost smutná a neměla moc čas ani náladu to zkusit opravit, ale možná se k tomu ještě vrátím. Naštěstí to zakrývá ta krásná kytka 😅. Látka je viskózovo-hedvábný krep zlomený ve výprodeji loni když zavírali Delsynu.

[ENG] I love an interesting detail and this side button band is why I wanted to make this #Burdastyle dress in the first place. 😍

If you’re wondering about how it’s done on the inside, just flick through the pictures. The front is a full wrap skirt where the bottom skirt is attached with snaps to the inside of the waistband. The instructions also have you sew a bit of fabric (I interfaced it as well) to the wrong side of the skirt where the buttons are attached.

[CZ] Miluju zajímavé detaily a tohle postranní zapínání na knoflíčky je přesně takový detail, kvůli kterému jsem si tyhle šaty z červnové Burdy 2019 musela ušít 😍

Jestli vás zajímá, jak jsou řešené uvnitř, tak si projděte všechny fotky. Přední sukně je plně zavinovací a spodní sukně se připíná na růžovou stranu pásku cvočky. Knoflíčky na sukni jsou přišité spolu s dalším kouskem látky na rubové straně (já jsem použila kousky vyztužené), aby se nevytrhávaly.

[ENG] I’ve been having a bit of a pink phase lately 😅. Here’s the latest addition to my 🩷 wardrobe - a #burdastyle062019 dress which I’ve wanted to make for ages because of the buttons on the side. I’ve even had the fabric for a few years, which is a beautiful linen with a bit of a stripy texture, which was always intended for this pattern. But with so many pieces and an unfamiliar construction, I needed to be in the mood and that took a while. 😅

I made a couple of changes - I transferred the gathering on the skirt into darts and shortened the straps and the length of the skirt. I also should have moved the bust darts down a bit, but otherwise it’s a pretty good fit.

[CZ] Poslední dobou frčím na růžové vlně. Tady je poslední hotový přírůstek do mojí 🩷 sbírky - šaty z červnového vydání #burdastyle z roku 2019. Měla jsem je na seznamu už dávno, několik let si na ně i syslila krásný len s takovou proužkovou texturou… Ale ten počet střihových dílů a to, že jsem úplně nevěděla, jak se všechny poskládají ve výsledné šaty, mě trochu odrazovali. Zkrátka na ně musela být správná nálada a jsem ráda, že v květnu konečňe přišla. 😅

Pokud jde o úpravy, řasení na sukni jsem přesunula do záševků a zkrátila ramínka i délku sukně. Měla jsem ještě snížit prsní záševky, ale jinak jsem s nimi spokojená.

[ENG] I’m really looking forward to the weather

[ENG] I’m really looking forward to the weather turning a bit more springy again so that I can wear my spring dresses 🌸. This is my second #SOILeaDress I made last year from a beautiful viscose/silk blend crepe. It creases a lot, but it feels so nice to wear 😍. It’s my second Lea and I made it with all the adjustments as my first (details in the original post) except this time I kept the longer length.

[CZ] Už se nemůžu dočkat, až zase bude počasí na jarní/letní šaty 🌸, ať je zase můžu nosit. Jako třeba tyhle propínací šaty Lea od @sewoveritlondon . Šila jsem je z krásného i když mačkavého krepu ze směsi hedvábí a viskózy a jsou hrozně příjemné. Je to už druhá verze stejného střihu, šila jsem se stejnými úpravami jako ty první (detaily jsou v prvním příspěvku z loňska), jen délku jsem tentokrát tolik nezkracovala.
